Hospice volunteering is flexible and so rewarding! We need your support throughout our service area.
No previous experience or healthcare background is required. We provide all of the training you need, and we work around YOUR schedule- hours and patient visits are based on your availability.

Caring Hospice Services is a unique, holistic and cost effective service designed to meet the social, emotional, spiritual and physical needs of our patients and families as they face terminal illness.

Patient Visits
Share your love and kindness, just give your time and TLC. Caring Hospice Volunteers act as friendly visitors to provide companionship, support and a social outlet. They may chat with patients, do an activity, have lunch, or simply hold hands.

Therapeutic Care
Caring Hospice volunteers, certified in professional complementary therapies, visit patients in their homes or nursing homes and provide calm, peace, and joy to our patients. These professional therapies include but are not limited to; Reiki, Massage, Aromatherapy, Art therapy, and Certified Pet therapy.

Share-A-Talent
Caring Hospice Volunteers share their unique talents to bring bring happiness and joy to our patients! Patients enjoy all types of music, so whether you can sing or play an instrument you can help. Singing, playing music, performing, working on art projects together.

Activities
Caring Hospice Volunteers bring joy to the lives of our patients by interacting with them in an enjoyable way. You can enhance their quality of life, by reading to them, watching a movie or ball game, discussing current events, or taking them outside to enjoy the fresh air.

Helping Hands
Caring Hospice Volunteers help alleviate the burden of both patient and caregiver by performing useful tasks such as grocery shopping, organization, meal preparation and limited regular household activities.

Office Assistance
Caring Hospice Volunteers help office staff with basic tasks such as copying and e-filing, helping with web research, spreadsheets, and more. Helping out in the office is a great way to be in a social environment and still contribute to those receiving hospice care.
